Regional selection for the Central Asian Robotics Championship is coming to an end 25.01.2025
On January 25-26, 2025, the final round of selection for the FIRST Robotics Championship will be held in Astana with the participation of more than 800 students and their coaches. The main theme of this year's FIRST Championship is the study of the underwater world, which is a global environmental problem. The selection includes two stages:• FLL Challenge - lower-grade students program LEGO robots to solve engineering tasks.• FIRST Tech Challenge - upper-grade students build robots from metal structures to perform complex tasks. The FIRST Championship has been held since 1980. Kazakhstan has been actively participating in this championship since 2017. Today, the Akbulak medical clinic was opened in the R. Sabdenov village of the T. Ryskulov district of the Zhambyl region and put into use by the villagers.This is the third medical facility built in the T. Ryskulov district of the Zhambyl region in recent years and put into use by the country.The facility, which provides medical services to villagers, provides the population with such types of assistance as doctor's appointments, medical procedures, midwife's appointments, massage, and various medical tests.The total number of residents registered here is 2,237 people. The Ministry of Health has issued recommendations to general practitioners, infectious diseases specialists, therapists, obstetricians and gynecologists on providing consultative and diagnostic assistance to pregnant women in cases of influenza, acute respiratory viral infections, acute respiratory viral infections, and pneumonia.Training seminars were organized for 300 medical workers from Zhambyl, Turkestan regions and the city of Shymkent with the participation of Professor of the Astana Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Chief Infectious Diseases Specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Kosherova and Chief Specialist of the National Center for Emergency Medicine (NCEM) Gumyrbek Agibayev, and more than 10 pregnant and postpartum women were consulted on the methods of monitoring and caring for them.According to experts, the increase in respiratory infections poses a threat not only with the development of seasonal diseases, but also with complications and unfavorable prognosis.In addition to respiratory infections, cases of pneumonia and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) are currently being registered among the population.
